What We Like

- Programs: Epic’s built-in personal training programs automatically adjust the treadmill’s incline and speed. If needed, users can easily override the programs and design custom programs to help maintain an ideal heart rate when exercising.
- Space-saving: The 425 MX can be folded with Easy Drop self-folding technology.
- Track: Epic’s patented ComfortStep shock absorption system helps protect runners’ joints. Also, the track’s two-ply design and large track rollers add durability and help the treadmill to operate quietly.
- Motor warranty: Epic treadmills are sold with strong 12-year warranties on the motors plus one year of parts and one year of labor.
What We Don’t Like
- Lack of bells & whistles: Some exercisers need the motivation provided by a machine with TV, iFit technology, and other entertainment options.
Our Verdict
Epic treadmills offer good value at a moderate price. The Epic 425 MX is not necessarily the brand’s best offering; the company now manufactures upgraded versions such as the Epic 600 MX, which costs only $100 more. The Epic View, which actually costs less than the 425 MX, offers multimedia entertainment.
