What We Like
- Space-age controls: The EVO 1 features motion-sensor speed and incline controls on the handrails. Adjusting the machine while exercising is as easy as waving your hand.
- Shock absorption: EVO has taken special care to reduce shock by installing special cushioning on the handrails. Shock is displaced from the user’s body to the treadmill’s frame. Furthermore, the track has orthopedic cushioning.
- Track: The EVO 1 treadmill’s 62″ x 20″ track is among the largest sold for in-home use. Large rollers help extend belt life.
- Motors: The upgraded EVO 1 has an industrial-quality 3.0 horsepower motor. The machine can handle up to 400 pounds.
- Warranties: With a top-of-the-line warranty, EVO1 buyers get a lifetime guarantee on all parts plus two years of labor.
What We Don’t Like
- Price: EVO machines are very similar to Smooth treadmills, yet EVOs tend to cost a bit more. Potential customers are advised to carefully compare models from the two brands.
