Reebok 910 Treadmill Review

Editor's Rating: 6.8/10

The Reebok 910 Treadmill follows the entry level Reebok 710. It’s a better buy than the 710, but it’s lackluster in comparison with the 1910. This home treadmill is designed for walkers and intermediate runners seeking a respectable workout machine but nothing too fancy – a sort of Honda Civic of the treadmill world. It has a 15% incline, 30 built-in apps, and the option to add iFit.

What We Like:

  • Workout Programs: The 30 built-in training programs address a variety of fitness goals, so there’s something for everyone. Additional workouts that are customized to your personal stats and goals can be downloaded daily if you add an iFit module and membership.
  • iFit Option: iFit makes treadmills interactive in many ways. Here are just a few: 1) You can map a route with Google Maps and then travel it on your treadmill! The automatic incline will mimic changes in the actual terrain. 2) You can compete with Facebook friends in online races. 3) You can download customized treadmill workouts daily.
  • Wireless Monitor: Wireless heart rate monitors are the most accurate, and a full system is included with purchase. Use the heart rate control programs for your most efficient workouts yet!
  • Motor: The 3.0 HP motor is powerful enough for most users. Heavier users (in terms of weight or frequency) will want more powerful motors.
  • Track: The 60 inch track is long enough for runners’ strides. Its ZigZag cushioning deflects shock from your body, helping you perform better and require less recovery time between workouts.
  • Incline: Get more from each workout by using the power incline! Training at an up to 15% slope, you’ll burn calories more quickly and get even better muscle definition than when you work out on a 0% grade.
  • 7″ Display: The 7 inch backlit display provides crisp readouts for workout data. As a bit of extra motivation, your avatar is shown moving around a quarter-mile track throughout your workouts.
  • Foldable: Get floor space back after exercise sessions. The SpaceSaver design with shock assist makes it easy to fold this treadmill vertically.
  • Capacity: The Reebok 910 Treadmill has a 350 pound weight capacity.
  • Warranty: New owners get lifetime frame and motor warranties, a three-year parts warranty and a one-year labor warranty.

What We Don’t Like:

The Reebok 910 looks good on paper but customer reviews have been mixed. Complaints about this unit have involved difficult assembly, broken parts and slow delivery. Also, the treadmill design forces you to stand back a little further on the track than you might be used to.

Our Verdict:

The Reebok 910 Treadmill is an average contender in its price category. It’s more than what any serious walker would need, and it will challenge beginning or intermediate runners. You can probably expect at least a few years of excellent workouts and hassle-free ownership. If you’re determined to spend less than $1000 on a treadmill, it might be a good choice.

Reebok has put more resources into the 1410 and 1910, and we expect these to prove more durable than the 910 once more customer reviews are in. The Reebok 1410 has a 7″ touchscreen with Android, and the Reebok 1910 Treadmill has a 10-inch touchscreen with Android. These units also give you a 3% decline in addition to an incline.
